§  Master data management store for a fully integrated solution reflecting the sophisticated relationship modeling needs of a leading global private wealth management firm, servicing high-net worth individuals in 6 countries on 3 continents

§  State-of-the-art integrated broker serving as a client-centric hub for access to demographic and financial data, interactions, and transactional tools, for 40,000 users of a global wealth management company

§  Integrated Agent Desktop solution for 17,000 call center, agency, and management users at a large mid-western P&C insurance company expanding nationally

§  Integrated disease screening solution to identify and screen individuals at risk for colorectal cancer

If you like working with smart, driven people in a passionate and dynamic work environment, you will love it here.   As a Professional Services Consultant specializing in Application Development and Integration, you will have the opportunity to use your technical skills, communication skills, and customer-facing skills, AND perform software analysis and design using our client’s state-of-the-art model-driven framework.

Position Accountabilities: The Professional Services, Consultant (Application Development / Integration Specialist) has accountability for successfully designing, configuring, and implementing integrated software solutions for our customers, which will be used by thousands of their users. This includes:

§  Gathering and analyzing technical customer requirements

§  Modeling technical designs using our client’s model-driven framework

§  Development and configuration of customer-specific solutions

§  Integration to multiple customer systems using SOA design and technology

§  Automation of key business processes

Position Requirements:This position requires a highly-focused, technically skilled individual who has been exposed to professional services practices, project management, and software development. A strong desire to accelerate your career by working in a high growth, fast paced environment, with the confidence to be a key contributor on an energetic and driven team, is essential. Key requirements include:

§  Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree with 0-5 years of software development experience, including co-operative work terms and internships

§  Strong object-oriented programming and design patterns experience

§  Understanding of web services technologies such as WSDL/XSD and SOAP

§  Understanding of enterprise messaging technologies such as JMS and Websphere MQ

§  Familiarity with scripting languages such as VBscript, Javascipt, Scheme

§  Knowledge of relational database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2

§  Familiarity with application server technologies such as WebSphere and JBoss

§  Knowledge or experience of the SDLC using Agile Scrum development and/or Waterfall project management methodologies and standards

§  Strong communicator with demonstrated confidence

§  Customer focused with a high degree of professionalism

§  Solutions focused with a track record of taking initiative to find the best ideas

§  Willingness and experience working within a flexible and collaborative team environment

§  Familiarity or experience with Financial Services organizations, such as Wealth Management, Life Insurance, P&C Insurance, Investment Banking and Retail Banking

Candidates will be working directly with customers and will be required to travel (mainly within Canada and to the US) and work at customer sites.
