We are seeking a seasoned Antitrust Associate Attorney to enhance our dynamic team at a top international law firm based in Washington, D.C. Salary: $310,000.00 - $420,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage antitrust litigation cases efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal standards and client expectations.
- Advise on mergers and acquisitions, preparing and reviewing necessary documentation and supporting merger filings.
- Engage in detailed analysis and preparation for handling government enforcement issues in antitrust matters.
- Provide strategic counseling to clients on antitrust laws and regulations that impact their businesses.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare complex legal arguments and represent clients in court effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in antitrust law and contribute to the team’s overall strategy.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in antitrust law, preferably with a focus on counseling, investigations, and litigation.
- Bar certification in Washington, D.C. is required.
- Proven track record of managing large and complex legal cases.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Hart-Scott-Rodino Act filings highly desired.
- Previous work experience in a government agency related to antitrust law is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing client relationships and complex projects.
- Ability to offer innovative solutions to legal and business challenges.
- Experience in cross-border antitrust issues is advantageous.
