Antitrust Associate Attorney

Salary: $310,000.00 - $420,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage antitrust litigation cases efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal standards and client expectations.
  • Advise on mergers and acquisitions, preparing and reviewing necessary documentation and supporting merger filings.
  • Engage in detailed analysis and preparation for handling government enforcement issues in antitrust matters.
  • Provide strategic counseling to clients on antitrust laws and regulations that impact their businesses.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare complex legal arguments and represent clients in court effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in antitrust law and contribute to the team’s overall strategy.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in antitrust law, preferably with a focus on counseling, investigations, and litigation.
  • Bar certification in Washington, D.C. is required.
  • Proven track record of managing large and complex legal cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with Hart-Scott-Rodino Act filings highly desired.
  • Previous work experience in a government agency related to antitrust law is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing client relationships and complex projects.
  • Ability to offer innovative solutions to legal and business challenges.
  • Experience in cross-border antitrust issues is advantageous.
