Assume leadership of the day-to-day operations of their successful Animal Feed Mill, ensuring plant efficiency, safety, continuous improvements, quality control, regulatory compliance, productivity, cost control, maintenance, project management, inventory, and account management are exceeded. Full duties will be shared with those short-listed for the position to confirm that this opportunity will showcase your skills and meet your career goals.
To be successful, the following has been identified:
Strong leadership and people management skills; supervisory experience an asset
Ten (10) years’ (minimum) experience within a feed (preferred), or grain mill/processing/manufacturing environment
Direct management/leadership work experience
Ability to review and analyze P&L and statistical reports; budgeting responsibilities
History of working safely and a reputation for promoting a safe work environment
Willingness to get your hands dirty on the floor when required
Audience adaptable verbal and written communication; motivator
Strong computer skills; email, excel, etc.
Positive account management and customer service focus
Ability to utilize independent judgement to solve problems
Superior organization skills to effectively handle multiple ongoing tasks; meet deadlines
Mechanical aptitude an asset
