We are a leading company offering a comprehensive catalog of products for our customers through both online and print channels. We are looking for an E-commerce and Catalog Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing and analyzing our online and catalog-based sales operations.
Job Overview:
As an E-commerce and Catalog Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the performance of our online store and product catalog. You will work closely with the e-commerce, marketing, and merchandising teams to identify trends, track sales performance, and help shape strategies that improve customer engagement and sales. You will also manage product data for the catalog, ensuring it’s accurate, up-to-date, and well-structured across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze e-commerce sales performance and catalog data to provide actionable insights.
- Track key metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer retention to evaluate the success of digital and catalog campaigns.
- Produce regular reports and dashboards on website performance, catalog product performance, and sales trends.
- Monitor and analyze product performance by category to support product assortment decisions.

Catalog Management:
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of the product catalog for both print and online channels.
- Ensure accurate product descriptions, pricing, images, and specifications are presented in all formats.
- Collaborate with the product and merchandising teams to ensure proper categorization and organization of product listings.

E-commerce Optimization:
- Work with the e-commerce team to identify opportunities for improving the customer experience and increasing sales.
- Help identify and implement strategies for cross-selling, upselling, and optimizing the online store layout.
- Evaluate product positioning, availability, and presentation on the website to ensure maximum conversion and visibility.

Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Perform competitor analysis to understand pricing strategies, product offerings, and market trends.
- Monitor industry trends and consumer behavior to inform catalog and e-commerce strategies.
- Assist in identifying new market opportunities and product gaps for both online and catalog offerings.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and IT, to align catalog and e-commerce strategies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of product launches, promotions, and seasonal catalog updates.
- Provide insights and recommendations on catalog design, layout, and content based on data analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce analytics, catalog management, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and catalog management systems.
