Analyst, Operations

Our client is currently accepting resumes for the position of Analyst, Operations to join our growing team of investment professionals focused on middle market direct lending strategies. The position is primarily responsible for treasury and operations management with an emphasis on reconciliation along with breaks resolution for our firm’s direct lending funds.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day review and updating of internal security master file ensuring that downstream feeds to other internal systems are populated timely with accurate data.
  • Manage post-close data workflows by ensuring new trade data feeds into downstream systems properly.
  • Assist on day-to-day reconciliation of positions and outstanding cash with fund administrators.
  • Manage document retention for the audit process including the collection and organization of audit documents.
  • Assist in projects and identification of issues and areas for process improvement.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree with a preferred concentration in finance, accounting, or economics.

· 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience preferred

· Excellent analytical skills with strong working knowledge of Excel.

· Understanding of private debt and middle market loans a plus.

· Strong attention to detail and highly organized with the proven ability to meet tight deadlines.

· Ability to prioritize competing priorities with minimal supervision in a cross-functional team environment.

· Strong written and communication skills.

· The position is located in our Chicago office.
