Position Overview

This person sits at the center of our company’s Amazon FBA operations and plays a crucial role in managing the catalog, coordinating and creating all inbound and domestic shipping and other operation needs. Being proactive, organized and thorough are key to success.

The right candidate will have a strong background in creating FBA inbound shipments, handling catalog issues with amazon seller support, dealing with 3PLs, forwarders, truckers and other supply chain needs. This candidate will elevate our overall operations and ensure all parties are communicating efficiently and clearly. The person will work closely with the President of the company and product managers.

What You’ll Contribute

Specific ownership of initiatives and day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Freight/Supply Chain Management - Stay in-stock! Work with Brand Builders, Inventory Optimization and Purchasing Teams as well as key external partners (Freight Forwarders, 3PL's, Trucking and Parcel carriers) to ensure that purchase orders arrive in time to hit demand forecasts and maintain our in-stock position.
  • Operational Excellence. Measure and improve supplier lead times, reduce operational defects, and improve systems to streamline operations between suppliers and Copper Compression. Drive root cause analysis/reporting on operational issues, develop action plans and project manage improvements.
  • Process Improvement. Work with internal teams to help drive tools and process improvements that affect purchasing and supplier management workflow, with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually.
  • Strategy & Planning. Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience, business operations, and overall cost structure of the business. Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.

Who You Are

  • Has 3+ years of strong experience in Amazon FBA business
  • Strong experience in importing product into the USA.
