Job Description

Our client is well known in the aviation industry. We are looking for Aircraft Avionics, you will be working in Calgary, Alberta. As an Aircraft Avionics, you will be responsible manufacturing and installing aircraft structural components, maintenance and C-check, repair and modification the aircraft.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed
  • Ability to use the correct tools, methods, techniques and equipment required to perform aircraft avionics requirements
  • Candidates should be able to read and understand various schematic diagrams for avionics troubleshooting and be proficient with computers and testing tools and equipment
  • Test repaired aircraft avionics systems and other routine work
  • Ensure both the accuracy and traceability of parts that are removed or installed on the aircraft
  • Perform other work assigned

Desired Qualifications:

  • University degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, Software Engineering or related;
  • Minimum of 3+years of experience in the aerospace industry
  • Minimum of 3+years of experience in the avionics
  • Experience with general aircraft repair, fabrication and installation
  • Knowledge of avionics systems on aircraft (certification, design, integration, specification and test);
  • Possess knowledge expected of an AME(E) on aircraft types handled by the Company
  • Valid AME Transport Canada License

Wages: $40 to $50/hrs. Based on Experiences

Duration: Contract Based

For contractor who residence is greater than 50kms from client location:

  • Per diem: $50 per day
  • $1250 per month accommodation allowance or hotel reimbursement
  • Share rental vehicle provide during contract duration
  • Flights to job site at the beginning and flight back home
  • Reimburse travel expense and travel allowance
  • During the 6 month contract, 1 flight home and back to site
  • During the 12 month contact, 2 flights home and back to site.
