Air Separation Unit Manager

This role based on a beautiful island in Indonesia, working with a mining company, will be responsible to:

• Make the right Engineering decisions for Air Separation Unit (ASU) along with the Owner’s engineers’ team & the technology supplier
• manage the issues and mitigate the risks during the project stage and subsequently during the operations
• Operation & Maintenance of ASU plant post commissioning, achieve the monthly targets in line with the budget/set target
• Ensuring no stoppage of Smelter due to lower availability of ASU

Requirements for this role:

• Mechanical engineering background with at least 15 years of relevant industrial experience in engineering, design, OEM selection, managing construction, and Operations of ASU, especially in the Non-Ferrous sector – preferably Copper Smelter.
• Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects &/or international organizations would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in managing ASU in Asian Non-ferrous smelters or other Indonesian-origin plants will be an added advantage.
• Expertise in process technology, engineering, operations, maintenance, shutdown management, and troubleshooting.
• Previous experience in managing a high-value project (>USD 1 billion) would be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
