Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the International Operations Supervisor for an award winning global logistics organization with 30+ years’ experience delivering quality logistics services to clients worldwide. Our client has expanded throughout the US to 19 offices with over 100 global affiliate partners.
The Air Export Operations Agent is responsible for providing a high-level customer experience through the processing of air shipments on our client’s export team. You will perform day-to-day coordination and tracking of air export shipments, schedule and arrange pickups, and book space with air carriers completing air-related documentation to include airway bills, pick-up orders, and manifests.

Background Required:
- Freight forwarding industry experience (3+ years)
- Extensive knowledge of Air Export product & requirements
- Thorough understanding of understanding of US Customs, TSA, and CTPAT regulations
- Experience negotiating rates with trucking companies, carriers, and overseas partners
- Knowledge of international and domestic geography
- Excellent customer service skills
- New account start-up and implementation from A to Z
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or Human Resources
- Residence: commutable to Elkridge, MD
- Hazmat certification
- Knowledge of World-Trak
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Superior time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven analytical & problem-solving skills
