Agronomy Operations Manager - Northwestern IN

Ag 1 Source is looking for an Agronomy Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at a successful and profitable location. This role is NOT responsible for managing its sales team, just the operations and administrative people at the location. What you will be doing:

• Focus on managing the logistics of the day-to-day application, deliveries, spray schedules
• Manage keeping the location in its operating budget
• Managing the operations personnel, around 8 direct reports
• Overseeing safety and upkeep of facilities and equipment
• Working with leadership on product inventory, procurement and forecasting

A successful candidate for this Operations Manager will possess the following:

• This being a larger facility, we would really prefer someone who has been in Ag Retail before
• People management experience
• Strong knowledge of local agriculture, crops and practices
• Basic Agronomy knowledge
• Farmer network in the area would be a plus

Compensation: Targeting up to $100K base, will depend on experience, as well as additional incentives

Desired Location: Northwestern Indiana, Jasper, Pulaski, White, Cass, Fulton, or Starke Counties in Indiana
