Agronomy Operations Western Kansas

Ag 1 Source is looking for an Agronomy Operations person for a well-respected client who is seeking an experienced individual who has a successful history of operations with ag retail locations as well as working with farmers to provide superior customer service. Operational experience would be beneficial in this role.

What you will be doing:

• Operations of the agronomic side of the business involving seed, chemicals and fertilizer.
• Custom application, delivery, all operations within an ag retail facility.
• Assisting, and motivating the team with tasks and scheduling applications/deliveries.
• Provide customer support and service and promote a service-oriented culture.

A successful candidate for this Agronomy Operations role will possess:

• Experience in operations within a territory and/or agriculture business of some sort, preferably with an agronomic and/or ag retail focus.
• Familiar with Western Kansas agriculture.
• Personality to quickly build rapport with both the agronomy team and the customers.
• Solid can-do attitude and the ability to self-manage and run something as if it were their own business.

Compensation: Base compensation for this role will depend on experience will range from $65-$85K base salary range with additional bonus opportunity.
