Agricultural Tele-Specialist (Home-based position)

Our client contracts with numerous players within the crop protection industry for short-term telephone projects. The intention of these projects is to create brand awareness, gather customer intelligence, provide customer service, and increase sales, retention, satisfaction, and loyalty of customer-base. As such, our client seeks individuals interested joining their database on an on-call basis (with option to decline) throughout the year.

As per each assignment, you would be required to make outbound calls to assigned retail and/or growers to complete things like surveys, discuss 'key' programs, products, services, or sales opportunities. Alternatively, you may contact existing customers with reminder messages about specific product and rebate deals. The ultimate goals is to develop a stronger relations between the customer and the client you are representing. This is not cold-calling, these would be warm calls.

To be successful, you offer:
  • Ability to relate to farmers with knowledge of agriculture industry (required)

  • Available and willing to attend a webinar training session
  • Ability to clearly communicate the company's message
  • Telephone with voicemail and quality internet access

  • Self-starter; not discouraged by rejection
  • A Canadian Social Insurance Card
