Position: Freight Broker Agent

Location: Remote / WFH

This is a 1099 (independent contractor) position

Position Summary: As an Independent Freight Broker Agent (1099), operate as your own boss working remotely from the comfort of your own home for our client operating under their brokerage authority. You’ll solicit TL freight from your network of commercial customers, tapping into an unsaturated market. We provide ALL the back office administrative and support work so that you can focus on selling & moving freight for your customers.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• 3+ Years of Freight Agent Experience
• Developed & Transferrable book of business
• Determined hunter of new clients and business
• Intrinsically motivated, goals driven, strong work ethic
• Proven ability to network, build relationships, and solicit & close business
• Strong background in utilizing CRM
• Ability to Negotiate rates with customers and carriers
• Professional follow-up and coordination between customers and carriers.
• Professional collaboration and coordination with shippers, carriers and dispatchers
• Organized and plans daily activities including follow-up calls and appointments
