Ag Risk Advisor

Work FOR the farmer, becoming their trusted advisor. Our client is focused on protecting the Western Canadian farmer, providing them with protection and the collateral they require to keep their operation as profitable as possible.

NOTE: Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job. If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada, we will not consider your job application as we are not licensed to assist with immigration. Those with temporary work permits or those outside of Canada cannot be retained in our database.

What would you need to be successful?
  • An independent agribusiness sales background (seed sales/consulting agronomy) with an established network within a 100 mile radius of your home
  • Interest and ability to achieve CAIB certification quickly upon hire
  • Desire to be a 'go-to' advisor, not just a salesperson
What would you be doing? As their Ag Risk Advisor, you will work directly with individual farmers to create a proactive, formalized process to identify financial risks, determine what risks are important to address, and then implement strategies to mitigate those risks. You will complete business development while providing exceptional account management.

This is an independent commission role for the entrepreneurial-minded salesperson; build on to your book! Our client offers on-site training, development, and reimbursement of most certification costs. An innovative, industry-leading, rapidly growing, young and exciting company with a great working environment; work from HOME!
