Guided Search Partners (GSP)
Guided Search Partners is an Executive Search firm built on Trust, Transparency, Specialization, and Long-term Relationships.
We connect high-performing professionals with organizations that value people, performance, and growth—helping leaders find roles where they can make an impact and build meaningful careers.

About Opportunity

We’re partnering with a long-established U.S. engineering and manufacturing organization known for precision components and deep partnerships across highly regulated industries. With a legacy rooted in advanced rings, seals, and mission-critical aerospace applications, this business has built its reputation on reliability, technical rigor, and engineering innovation.

This role exists at a pivotal moment as aerospace programs continue to expand and quality expectations grow more complex. The organization is investing in its quality infrastructure, customer partnerships, and talent to support long-term growth and flight-safety excellence.

What makes this opportunity compelling is the breadth of exposure. The work reaches beyond internal inspection and documentation into direct customer interaction, aerospace compliance, and supplier engagement. Visibility is high, standards are exacting, and the impact is tangible.

Professionals who thrive here tend to be detail-oriented builders—people who enjoy working close to the product, value precision, and take pride in getting it right the first time.

What You’ll Do

This role blends hands-on quality engineering with leadership, collaboration, and customer-facing responsibility.

You’ll support aerospace quality programs by driving inspection documentation, PPAP/UPPAP compliance, and adherence to stringent customer and regulatory standards. Working closely with production teams, you’ll help translate quality requirements into daily execution on the floor.

You’ll partner across engineering, operations, and quality leadership to evaluate processes, resolve nonconformances, and strengthen systems tied to AS9100 and aerospace expectations. Troubleshooting, data analysis, and corrective action are part of the day-to-day rhythm.

The role also includes direct interaction with customers and suppliers—supporting customer quality programs, participating in audits, and contributing to vendor assessments. Exposure to flight-safety-related initiatives adds depth and responsibility beyond a typical quality position.

As the division grows, you’ll support new program launches and continuous improvement efforts while building credibility as a trusted quality resource.

Who You Are

You’re naturally analytical and take satisfaction in precision, documentation, and disciplined problem-solving. Quality isn’t just a function—it’s a mindset you bring to every interaction.

You balance technical depth with clear communication and collaborate easily with engineers, operators, and leaders alike. Hands-on work doesn’t intimidate you; it sharpens your understanding.

You’re comfortable working within structured, regulated environments and can navigate audits, customer expectations, and evolving requirements with confidence. Colleagues recognize you as dependable, thoughtful, and steady under pressure.

Preferred Experience & Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace or aeronautical-related quality environments.

  • Working knowledge of AS9100, PPAP/UPPAP, inspection documentation, and customer quality requirements.

  • Experience with GD&T, calibration systems, and statistical analysis.

  • Familiarity with PFMEAs, capability studies, and measurement system analysis.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage detail without losing perspective.

  • A grounded professional who balances urgency with accuracy and compliance.

Why This Role Matters

Quality is central to this organization’s reputation and its future. This role directly supports aerospace programs where reliability, safety, and consistency are non-negotiable.

You’ll work closely with quality leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure products meet demanding standards while strengthening customer trust. The work influences not only compliance, but also long-term partnerships and growth.

With continued investment in training, certification support, and professional development, this position offers a clear path for advancement into senior quality leadership as aerospace initiatives expand. The team values tenure, collaboration, and technical excellence—making now a meaningful time to step in and contribute.
