A leading global aerospace & defense manufacturer is seeking an experienced PCB Designer (II/III) to support new product development and sustainment engineering. This role partners closely with Electrical/Mechanical Engineers to deliver high-quality PCB layouts, documentation packages, and design improvements for mission-critical systems.
What You’ll Do

Create PCB layouts, fabrication/assembly drawings, and complete drawing packages.

Manage and maintain ECAD libraries (symbols, footprints, parts).

Support design reviews, incorporate ECOs, and ensure accurate documentation.

Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production issues.

Review and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and customer requirements.

Mentor junior designers and present technical topics as needed.

Interface with fabrication/assembly vendors and provide technical guidance.
Required Qualifications
Education
-
AA degree in Engineering Technology, CAD, Math, or similar.
Experience
-
3+ years of PCB layout & design for aerospace/defense products or highly regulated industry.

Strong understanding of analog, digital, mixed-signal, high-speed, and power supply PCB designs.

Proven ECAD library management experience.

Experience working directly with PCB fabrication & assembly vendors.
-
IPC Certified Interconnect Designer highly preferred but not required.
Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Altium Designer.

Ability to create complex designs with strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of MIL-STD, IPC, and industry drawing standards.

Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and support multiple projects.
- Occasional travel to customers/suppliers.
