We are looking for a motivated Admissions Counselor with proven recruitment experience to aid in recruiting students, both internationally and domestically, to our global campuses, including our local campus in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Admissions and Recruitment:

  • Represent the University at college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events throughout the region, including out-of-state travel
  • Schedule and coordinate travel to programs and events in assigned recruitment territory
  • Serve as primary contact for prospective students, parents, school administrators, and community officials
  • Deliver interactive presentations to diverse audiences at high school visits, campus tours, and Open House programs
  • Regularly meet with “Walk-In” visitors to the Undergraduate Admissions office
  • Advise prospective students in regard to application and enrollment procedures
  • Generate data and reports using online platforms
  • Regularly communicate with interested parties via a variety of channels, including phone, text, e-mail, print, web, and social media
  • Assist with execution of Admissions events

Program Marketing:

  • Attends and documents/photographs events and conferences with students and staff for the purpose of promotion/recruitment/sales
  • Works closely with the program and marketing team to prepare promotional material and brochures, both international and local
  • Works closely with the communications team to ensure proper dissemination of information to our local constituents
  • Works closely with digital marketing teams to create targeted ad campaigns and promotional material

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
  • 3 years’ experience in Higher Education, Sales/Marketing
  • Experience with College Board listings & MACA events
  • Fluent in English (Proficiency in French is a plus)
  • Must be able to work flexible hours (MACA Events may fall after hours/during weekends during busy times of year)
  • MUST have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Precise, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to engage students/parents & sell programs

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong business/marketing acumen
  • Higher Education Recruitment experience
  • Strong capacity to work well both independently and with remote teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to exude team spirit mentality and to work in a multicultural environment

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Admissions/Recruitment (Travel) 60%, Marketing 40% - Travel occurs in the Fall and Spring during high school recruitment fair season, for MACA events, etc.
