Job Location: Honolulu Compensation: $18-25/hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire - Part Time or Full Time Work Schedule: 5 days/week (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, + 2 days/weekday), 9am-1:30pm or 9am-6pm (Negotiable)


Position Summary:

This role plays a key part in the daily operations of our company, primarily focusing on vacation rental and long-term rental management. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of administrative duties, communicate effectively with clients, and perform light accounting tasks. We offer a collaborative, small-company atmosphere and will provide training for certain responsibilities, including accounting tasks.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform general office administrative tasks, including scheduling, filing, and responding to inquiries.
  • Assist with vacation rental and long-term rental operations.
  • Communicate with visitors, vendors, and property owners to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Perform light accounting tasks, such as handling payables and receivables (training provided).
  • Assist with social media management and content creation.
  • Conduct property inspections as needed.
  • Handle various tasks assigned by the owners to support day-to-day business needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education:
    • At least 1 year of college education is required.
  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in a related role is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate.
  • Language Skills:
    • Japanese-speaking is a plus but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • General computer and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a pleasant phone demeanor.
    • QuickBooks experience or a willingness to learn basic accounting functions.

Working Conditions:

  • Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm (with a half-hour lunch break) or Full-Time.
  • Positive, small-company environment with a focus on collaboration and flexibility.
  • Some tasks may require working outside the office, such as property inspections.
