About You

• Be able to do the job as described
• Masters, Physician Assistant, PA-C or MSN, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - AGACNP/ACNP required; licensed in Texas (or able to obtain)
• 2–3 years of ICU RN or NP experience required or Physician Assistant with ICU experience
• Must have experience with heart failure patients (PA, RN or NP), mixed ICU is okay
• Fresh transplants, and mechanical circulatory support experience preferred, will train on devices
• ACLS required; ATLS within 6 months if working in trauma

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and in-hospital follow-up for heart failure patients
• Perform procedures: A-lines, central lines, intubations, chest tube removal, etc.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and ICU teams
• Provide night shift coverage with in-hospital follow-up and care management
