This newly created role is key to ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the firm’s accounting operations. Paid parking is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, proactively addressing past-due balances.
- Communicate with clients via phone and email to follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Resolve billing inquiries and disputes professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with supervisors and account partners to establish payment plans or apply approved discounts.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and prepare regular reports.
- Schedule and manage timely follow-ups with clients to support consistent cash flow.
- Coordinate documentation and approval of payment applications and write-offs.
- Keep Finance leadership informed on cases requiring partner-level approval.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Fully bilingual (English and Spanish), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and client service abilities.
- Experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor aligned with a high-standard law firm environment.
