Job Description

Our Brampton based client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This is a full-time, 3-6 month contract position. Reporting to the Controller, you will assist the Accounts Receivable team with the posting of various cash receipts in their ERP system. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Sort, Code, batch and post cheques
  2. Deposit cheques using remote deposit
  3. Post A/R cash receipts and adjustments
  4. Update the deposit log for all daily cash receipts
  5. Provide back-up support for posting credit card and online payments
  6. Other related AR duties as required

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or Post-Secondary Education
  2. Strong data entry abilities
  3. Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
  4. Strong communication skills
  5. Basic Accounts Receivable processing knowledge preferred
  6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  7. Must be very detail oriented
  8. Positive team player
