Position Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable / Collections Associate to manage customer receivables and support timely cash collection for a growing, product-based organization. This role focuses on business to business customer accounts, resolving billing issues, maintaining positive customer relationships, and ensuring accurate and efficient cash application—not high-volume or consumer collections.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of business client accounts, monitoring aging and following up on past-due balances

Perform outbound collection calls and email outreach in a professional, relationship-focused manner

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, short pays, and deductions

Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Shipping, and Accounting to resolve disputes and prevent delays in payment

Apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wire) accurately and timely

Reconcile customer accounts and maintain clean AR aging

Prepare AR aging reports and provide status updates to management

Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable

Support process improvements to reduce DSO and improve cash flow
Qualifications:

3+ years of Accounts Receivable and business to business collections experience within a product-based company (manufacturing, distribution, or similar)

Strong understanding of AR processes, collections and aging management

Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
