Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp-to-Hire), Onsite Daily
Location: Chantilly, VA area
Pay: $30-$35/hr
About the Role:
A growing back-office services firm supporting government contractors is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role will handle full-cycle AP functions while supporting a fast-paced, detail-oriented finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely, accurate payment
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies
- Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close
- Maintain accurate AP records and documentation
- Assist with audit and compliance requests as needed
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of AP or general accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems
- Exposure to government contracting accounting practices (DCAA compliance, Deltek Costpoint) required
- Ability to work onsite in the Chantilly, VA area
