Job Description

An opportunity exists at our client based in Century City for an Accounts Payable Administrator. The Accounts Payable Administrator will report directly to the Financial Manager.

The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for keeping all financial records updated by reconciling all accounts payable inclusive of raising purchase orders and other accounting duties for the business.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Processing of purchase orders
  • Receipting and matching of purchase orders
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Creating payment packs for supplier payments
  • Loading payments onto Nedbank Business Suite
  • Creating supplier recons
  • Assisting with audit queries on supplier information requests
  • Account analysis
  • Verifying bank details on banking portals for bank detail changes of Suppliers/ Dental
  • Providers
  • Assist with Invoicing customers
  • Handle adhoc financial queries

Requirements and Experience

  • Reliable internet connectivity is essential when working from home
  • Candidates must have a clear criminal record
  • 2-3 years’ experience within similar role Accounts Payable/Accounts Administrator role
  • Experience in healthcare, financial or administration industry & knowledge of relevant legislative environment is highly desirable

Education and Applicable Systems

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Diploma or Degree)
  • Previous work experience on financial systems - Oracle ERP, Nedbank Business Banking etc
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications, Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups etc)
