Our client in Port of Spain is seeking to hire Accounts Clerk on a three - six months contract.

Salary: $5,000.00
Location: POS

Job Summary:

This role involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. It includes completion of payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.

Job Duties:

  • Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; monthly payable entry, including petty cash vouchers
  • Daily cheque preparation
  • Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments; customer calls re cheque collection
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends – Aged Receivables Report, etc.
  • Credit Notes entry
  • Reconciliations
  • Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls
  • Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Any other requests by Management

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration of related field, preferred
  • 3+ years experience as an accounts clerk
