About the Role
GRC Executive Search is leading the recruitment of a Bilingual Accounting Manager on behalf of a reputable U.S.-based CPA and consulting firm serving a diverse, primarily Hispanic client base across various industries in the U.S. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates residing in Puerto Rico or the U.S. mainland, with U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (Green Card) required.
This role offers the opportunity to take a leadership position in a dynamic accounting environment, guiding teams and delivering high-quality service to a large and growing client base.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead and coach a remote team of international staff accountants, ensuring service quality and operational efficiency.

Client Oversight: Manage accounting operations for 300+ clients, reviewing financial statements, compliance deliverables, and client communications.

Compliance & Controls: Ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, tax law adherence, and maintenance of firmwide internal controls.

Operational Improvement: Design and optimize accounting workflows and reporting processes for better performance and client experience.

Financial Close Management: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.

Staff Development: Train team members and conduct performance evaluations to support growth and engagement.

Client Relations: Serve as the primary contact for client accounting queries, providing clear and effective bilingual communication.

Analytical Reporting: Deliver financial analysis and insights to support business strategy and client decision-making.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA licenses a must

Experience: At least 5 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role; public accounting background is required.

Languages: Must be fluent in Spanish and English.

Legal Status: Must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder).

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in GAAP, tax reporting, and accounting systems such as QuickBooks or Xero.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with a collaborative management style.

Remote Leadership: Proven success in managing distributed teams and maintaining performance in a remote setting.
