Our client is a leader in the industrial equipment and facilities sector, specializing in the design, construction, and servicing of industrial projects. They are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and support their growing team.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing general accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, team leadership, and financial reporting, preferably within the construction or industrial sectors.

Focus:
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Provide leadership and support to the accounting team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.
- Oversee financial statements, budgets, and audits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Macros, to extract and analyze financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and business operations.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines in all financial tasks.
- Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication across all levels of the organization.
Skill Set:
- Associate degree in business or accounting required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience with at least 2-3 years in a senior-level accounting role; experience in the construction or industrial sector is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Controller or 2-3 years as a Senior Staff Accountant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, Data Extraction)
- Excellent project management abilities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset.
