We are looking for a Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This is a great opportunity for a global-minded accounting professional to own the close and reporting process for a multinational organization, with real influence over how the Executive team makes decisions, in a hybrid role based in Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities

• Own the company's financial close process and all required reporting deliverables
• Manage the monthly closing and financial reporting process
• Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast process for the global organization
• Complete financial analysis of business unit performance and trends, including preparation of the monthly financial review package and other ad hoc reports
• Build continuous improvement and lean initiatives into the financial function
• Deliver timely analysis and reporting to support crisp, informed decision-making at the Executive level
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across global operations
• Maintain oversight and ownership of assigned key processes and related controls
• Take on ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience implementing best practices and strategic initiatives through business unit controllers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
