Accounting Manager

Compensation: $165,000–$175,000 (depending on experience)

Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations while actively supporting and developing a team across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing. This role requires a strong technical foundation, the ability to operate both strategically and tactically, and a willingness to step in and execute when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, and billing functions
  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management to a team of accounting professionals
  • Step in as needed to support transactional workflows and ensure continuity during staffing gaps
  • Manage and support complex financial areas, including non-qualified compensation plans
  • Partner cross-functionally to support broader finance initiatives and business operations
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all financial processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • CPA required
  • Background in public accounting highly preferred + 5 years in industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles beyond basic Excel-based work
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams across A/P, A/R, or similar functions
  • Demonstrated ability to be hands-on and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to navigate complex financial concepts
