Position Responsibilities:
Reporting the to the Controller of a leading producer of industrial pressure-treated wood products. Responding to the vital infrastructure needs of economy, they manufacture and distribute railway ties, utility poles, residential lumber, and industrial wood products across North America

The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting team for timber procurement from various suppliers and purchasing methods. Business recently implemented a raw material software package, WeighWiz and LIMS (Log Inventory Management System). Individual will perform a wide range of functions including complex journal entries, general ledger duties, account reconciliations, financial analysis that support the financial close process. The position requires a self-starter with initiative and exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and provide follow up. Key interpersonal skills include flexible, resourceful, strong communication skills, self-motivated/ability to work with little or no supervision, computer/technical literacy, and willing to travel as needed. Goal is to help organization increase revenue, optimize cost and maximize profitability.
