Accounting Manager
Job DescriptionAccounting Manager – On-Site (Puerto Rico)
We are partnering with a well-established, multi-store hardware retailer to identify an Accounting Manager who will take ownership of the full accounting function and help drive operational efficiency across the finance team.
This is a hands-on, on-site role (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full accounting cycle, including month-end close and financial reporting
- Lead and manage Accounts Payable operations (high volume environment)
- Supervise and develop a team of 3 accounting staff members
- Ensure accuracy across AR/AP, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Maintain compliance with financial and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline workflows
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience in full-cycle accounting
- Hands-on expertise in Accounts Payable (highly preferred)
- Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
