ACCOUNTING MANAGER - CONSOLIDATIONS
SALARY $100K to $130K plus bonus plus other incentives
LOCATION: Midtown NYC
Benefits: Excellent including generous PTO
Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote


Client is a multi-billion dollar diversified Entertainment / Media Company producing content for news, sports, TV and more! Publicly traded, profitable and stable company based in midtown NYC. Work for one of the world’s Entertainment/Media leaders and most sought after companies in a highly visible, accounting consolidations role in a team environment. Excellent benefits. Hybrid role offers 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly and quarterly consolidation process
  • Work closely with local finance and accounting teams, as well as various corporate finance teams (FP&A, Tax, SEC Reporting, etc.)
  • Review analysis work performed by staff
  • Analysis of various balance sheet accounts
  • Analysis of various roll forward accounts
  • Ad-Hoc Reports and Analysis
  • Data input, processing, and output
  • Support the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts
  • Ad-Hoc Special Projects

Job Requirements:


• Bachelors Degree in Accounting required
• CPA designation preferred
• 5+ years accounting experience
• Prior supervisory/management experience
• Advanced technical knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges
• Ability to coach, guide, mentor, and develop assigned staff
• Attention to detail, quick learner and internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.
• Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure, changing priorities and tight timelines/deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information
• Team player who can manage effectively within a global corporate environment
