About Our Client:
Our client, real estate investment firm located in Toronto is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to join their fast growing team who will report to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process accounts payable for properties
- Reconciling subledgers to the general ledger
- Support accountants with month end and year end
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Maintaining files for back-up
- General administrative and office duties
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in accounting functions
- College or University graduate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Office, and Word
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work independently and ability to establish a rapport in a team environment
