Position Overview:

This position is responsible for a wide range of day-to-day accounting operations at the U.S. office, working closely with external accounting firms and BPO vendors.
The role includes transaction management, invoice processing, payment operations, and approval workflow management.
In a startup environment, you will have ownership of your work and the opportunity to help build and improve the accounting foundation.

Responsibilities
  • Receive invoice data, review details, and manage approval workflows using Bill.com
  • Prepare and send sales data, manage payment schedules, and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Provide accurate data to bookkeeping companies and accounting firms (vendor information, invoice PDFs, etc.)
  • Link and manage contracts, quotations, and transaction data using QuickBooks and DocuSign
  • Review employee expense reports and check for errors or missing information
  • Maintain proper documentation, including invoices, receipts, and approval records
Qualifications:
  • Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
  • 2–3+ years of U.S. accounting experience (AP/AR)
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, DocuSign, and HCM systems, or willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to build and improve workflows independently in an environment where procedures are not yet fully established (startup mindset)
