Responsibilities
Financial Operations
  • Oversee daily sales reporting and verify POS → bank → QuickBooks accuracy.
  • Review inventory purchases, stock usage reports, and assist with cost control analysis.
  • Monitor AP and AR; ensure timely invoice processing and vendor reconciliations.
  • Maintain cash deposit logs and review cash variances with store managers.
  • Support the monthly close process (sales summaries, accruals, inventory adjustments).
Cost & KPI Monitoring
  • Track weekly COGS, labour, and OPEX for the company.
  • Identify unusual variances and escalate to the finance consultants.
  • Support container forecasting, vendor price changes, and inventory management.
Reporting
  • Prepare weekly financial performance summaries for both brands.
  • Work with the consultants to finalize store-level P&Ls and margin analysis.
  • Maintain organized documentation for audits, tax filings, and franchise compliance.
Internal Coordination
  • Serve as the finance liaison between the stores, suppliers, and head office.
  • Support GMs with budget tracking, financial queries, and KPI monitoring.
Education and Experience Required
  • Completed ACCA Level 1–2 (or near completion).
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience (AP/AR, reconciliations, reporting).
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
  • Experience in retail, distribution, or QSR is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail, structured, organized, and proactive.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communicators can coordinate between store teams and consultants.
  • Organized, reliable, and disciplined with deadlines.
