Accountant II - Hybrid Remote - $60,000/annually
Phoenix, AZ

This is a full-time, 40 hour/ week position. This is a hybrid position with 20% on-site work and 80% remote work. The employee will work from home Monday-Friday, with the exception of Wednesday. The team will be in the office on Wednesday. There will be potential to convert to FTE. Training will be provided both virtually and when in the office until the employee can work independently.


  • Manage two organizational email boxes
  • Provide training and guidance to staff in properly verifying and receiving goods/services
  • Reconciling monthly statements and transactions
  • Assisting the Deputy Controller and her teams by identifying areas of improvement, problem-solving issues, and researching policy and procedures


  • BA in Accounting
  • Knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and practices
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable, validating goods and services received, reconciliation, audit
  • Strong customer service skills. ie. Good communication, understanding, and patient demeanor
  • Ability to explain processes based on diverse learning methods
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with line staff and leadership staff
  • Clean 7-year background check required
