Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Customer Success for a leading asset-based logistics providers offering full transportation services (LTL, FTL, Specialized, and Expedited).
The Account Manager will drive revenue growth within an existing customer base by understanding customers’ business, industry, and supply chain to provide solutions. Will serve as key point of contact for customers in your portfolio; become the Chief Problem Solver for your customers. Will develop strong relationships across customer stakeholders and identify opportunities to cross-sell within the division and company. Ability to analyze, create presentations with experience working with customer service, and managing the startup process after the sale. The Account Manager will spend the majority of their time working with the existing customers in an effort to grow the business base, increase customer retention, and maximize profitability. Challenge is to increase revenues and maximize profitability.

Background Required:
  • Account Management in Freight Brokerage environment (2+ years)
  • Modes of transportation (i.e. Truckload)
  • Account Management (contact management, relationship building, implement formalized process)
  • Verifiable growth track record
  • Pricing and Margin Integrity
  • Managed KPI’s (i.e. Customer Development, Profitability, Market Penetration)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft (i.e. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
  • Location: Detroit, MI
