Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Sales & Operations of a non-asset transportation company that specializes in domestic freight. They have been in business for over 30 years and provide transportation and logistics solutions nationwide.
The Account Manager(s) is responsible for the solicitation, brokering and management of all freight for customers. Will maintain the proper documentation pertaining to all loads moved; negotiate customer and carrier freight rates. Will call and work with existing customers to obtain loads. Will work to generate new business within customer account, follow up with both carriers and customers on assigned loads, maintaining productive working relationships with customer and carrier representatives.

Background Required:
  • Freight brokerage sales and account management (3+ years)
  • Service offering (i.e. TL, Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed)
  • Strong Negotiation Ability (Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Residence: Grapevine, TX (DFW)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Education: College Graduate
