Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Branch / General Manager for one of the largest and most experienced crane and heavy transport businesses in the US. With the latest in equipment and training, their team of operators, engineers, and project managers, have the knowledge and industry experience to exceed customer expectations.
The Account Manager will be responsible for developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; providing technical information and explanations; and preparing quotes. Responsibilities include: Demonstrated strong negotiation and closing skills; Create and execute an annual sales plan with defined goals and objectives; Prospect and qualify warm leads; Conduct discovery meetings with existing and new customers to uncover needs; Create and deliver solutions and proposal presentations to customer’s decision making team; Develop potential solutions, estimate and prepare tailored proposals; Close sales by selling value and overcoming objections; Coordinate front-end project development with our Operations team.

Background Required:
  • Sales experience within the Crane (Tower / Mobile) Equipment Rental Industries (5 years)
  • Strong geographical knowledge (of competition, shippers/receivers, economic trends)
  • Proficient in reading crane charts, crane layout, etc.
  • Industry contacts within the assigned region
  • Management reporting expertise in CRM tools (SalesForce, NextGen, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and composure in English (i.e. verbal, written, presentations)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Location: Albuquerque, NM
Background Required:
  • Experience in AutoCAD and 3D Lift Plans
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
