Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO of a logistics and final mile delivery organization based in the Northeastern United States. They run a 24-hour, 7 day a week, 365-day operation in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC. Strives to provide competitive pricing and excellent service in a variety of industries, technology to enhance customer service experience, and prides themselves on integrity, a winning spirit, and leadership.
The Account Manager serves as the bridge between the company and client. This person must be a problem solver, customer service oriented, and has the autonomy to build relationships and grow business with an aggressive bonus program. This person will be managing anywhere from 5 to 15 accounts doing over $1 million in total revenue. Their mission is to gain the trust of their clients, improve service, then grow overall portfolio. With each success this person will have a chance to manage a larger revenue book and grow overall responsibilities within the role. Their goal is to increase revenue, optimize cost, and maximize revenue.

Background Required:
- Account Management (2 years)
- Understand account ROI’s
- Generate customer activity reports
- Background in courier, transportation, or warehousing (2 yrs)
- Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and execute
- Develop, meet, and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Customer service (standard and emergency response)
- Quarterly business reviews
- Cross selling solution mindset
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office
- Education: High School Degree
- Residence: New York, NY (and suburbs)
- Vertical experience in courier (in government, retail, pharma, legal, etc.)
- Courier or warehouse specific software
