Account Manager

Job Description

Amazing client is seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to drive sales of our cutting-edge automation products. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong sales acumen to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to promote and sell automation products and solutions.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide technical guidance, product demonstrations, and solution recommendations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to align product offerings with customer needs and industry trends.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, potential clients, and emerging market trends.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and quotations to customers.
  • Provide technical training and support to customers, ensuring successful product integration and application.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, including revenue, profit margins, and market share goals.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to showcase automation solutions and network with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
  • Stay current on industry advancements, automation technologies, and competitive offerings to effectively position company products in the market.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in automation, robotics, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automation products, systems, and applications.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with PLCs, motion control systems, or industrial robots.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and certifications.
