Job Description
Position Title: Account Manager
Department: Sales
Location: Northville, MI
Basic Purpose and Objective
Work with Senior Account Managers, Key Account Managers and Business Development Managers and report to the Sales Director. This position will be responsible for generating new business, managing and sustaining existing business for the company globally; through execution of customer specific sales strategies and business planning.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Develop, coordinate and facilitate strategic sales plans with a cross-functional team.
- Commercial lead supporting sustainable and profitable recurring business revenue as defined by company’s goals and targets.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, communicating and facilitating customer information, managing and completing action items.
- Responsible for preparation, submission, and presentation of all quotations, cost breakdowns and technical presentation information per customer specific requirements.
Education and Experience Required:
- Vehicle mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to organize, facilitate, and communicate with a global cross functional and cross-cultural organization, and ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
- Think strategically and take initiatives - Business minded with business acumen.
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), data mining and intelligence gathering.
- Travel to assigned customers.
- Some out of state and or international travel (Dependent on assigned customers).
