Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the President of a privately held, non-asset-based logistics provider that brings vast distribution experience, resources and solutions to help customers achieve supply-chain excellence.
The Sales Executive is responsible for the solicitating and prospecting new leads, managing the sales cycle and advancing and converting leads to customers. Will actively maintain leads database to ensure transparency. Will work hand in hand with Operations Manager, Account Managers, and Logistics Coordinators to generate new customer success. Challenge is to develop and expand account base, increase revenues and improve profitability.

Background Required:
  • Progressive responsibility for selling Non-Asset Truck Brokerage (2+ years)
  • Mode of transportation (i.e. Truckload, LTL, Intermodal)
  • Pricing and margin integrity
  • Negotiations
  • Customer development, profitability, & market penetration
  • Computer literate: Microsoft (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Residence: Austin, TX
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Inside / Outside Sales
  • McLeod Software
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
