Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales Manager of a growing, non-asset transportation and logistics company specializing in Freight Brokerage and Transportation Management services that has been in business since 2018.
The Account Executive will be responsible for developing relationships with customers, negotiating pricing, and arranging the transport of freight. Will also work with Pricing Analysts, and Operations team to create business solutions and long-term business relationships with perspective new customers. Challenge is to expand account base, increase revenues, and improve profitability.

Background Required:
  • Sales and business development in non-asset transportation environment (2+ years)
  • Service offering (i.e., Truckload, LTL, Dry Van, Reefer, Intermodal)
  • Strong Selling and closing capabilities
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Strong Negotiation Ability (Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Develop and execute business plan strategies
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Residence: Houston, TX or Remote
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Freight Management Software
  • Experience selling enterprise solutions
  • Transportation Network understanding
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
