Account Executive

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a well tenured and recognized logistics and transportation company that is dedicated to delivering supply chain solutions to its clients. The Account Executive will play a critical role in building and maintaining client relationships, driving revenue growth, and providing tailored logistics services. This position requires a motivated sales professional with strong communication, negotiation, and business development skills who thrives in a competitive, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and networking within the logistics and transportation industry.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts by delivering superior customer service and supply chain solutions.
  • Build long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and continued revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure client shipments are executed seamlessly.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to meet or exceed targets.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of proven sales or account management experience in 3rd Party Logistics (3PL), transportation, freight brokerage, or supply chain solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals and KPIs.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
