Description

One of our premier medical device clients seeks a candidate to fill the position of Account Executive in the Midwest. This territory includes Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa. Must reside within 25 miles of a major airport.

Position Responsibilities:

· As a leader in anesthesia and respiratory care products we are seeking an experienced outside sales representative for our medical device account executive position. This territory requires 40-60 percent overnight travel.

· Selling in clinical environments and working throughout the supply chain to provide product-based solutions while providing clinical education is essential for success. This includes assessing the needs of the customers, presenting differential features and benefits, cost/value analysis and the ability to understand and manage complex healthcare supply chain networks.

· Call points include but not limited to: Acute care hospitals, surgery centers, emergency medical services agencies and long-term care facilities.

· The ideal candidate will display excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Demonstrate the ability to organize and develop multi-state territory.

· 2-3 years successful outside sales experience.

· Ability to understand human anatomy and physiology.

· Effectively cover the territory through travel 40-60%.

· Clinical background, and experience with hospital environment/vendor credentialing a plus.

· Proficient with computers and electronics/technology.

· College degree preferred.

Responsibilities:

· Developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts within territory.

· Developing and maintaining proficiency with a variety of products.

· Effectively manage accounts, territory, and resources.

· Develop and effectively implement sales plans and objectives.

· Effectively manage the sales cycle and process from prospecting and preparation to close and in-service.

· Maintaining account records.

· Drug screening, background checks and immunizations required per industry standards.
