They have engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to help them recruit a ASP.NET MVC WEB DEVELOPER. ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Recruitment Augmentation.

 

Our client is seeking to expand their web development team with technical experts who will focus on developing new and maintaining existing CMS driven Web Applications in the on-line sports gaming and entertainment industry.

You will be actively involved in all phases of software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, researching, initial configuration, set up, design, documentation, testing, debugging, updates, ongoing support, integration, maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Web Development using primarily ASP.NET MVC, CMS based web applications, and other client side and server side frameworks and technologies
  • Maintaining and improving existing websites and applications
  • Integrating new solutions into existing platform
  • Working closely with other staff members such as Project managers, marketing specialists, content managers, translators and testers.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ Years experience developing web sites using Content Management Systems
  • 5+ years developing web solutions using ASP.NET MVC (C#)
  • 5+ years experience in using javascript frameworks like JQuery, BackboneJS, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, etc.
  • 5+ years experience in using HTML and CSS
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Good understanding of development SOLID principles (specially dependency injection and single responsibility)
  • Experience building and subscribing to RESTful services
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Initiative to work independently, but also able to work effectively with team members.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to business requirements and priority changes.
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and ability to travel on occasion are highly desirable
