The AS400 RPG Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications running on IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with RPG IV, RPGLE (ILE), and Free Form RPG programming, as well as a solid understanding of DB2/400 databases and CL scripting.

Job Duties will include:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain RPG programs (RPGLE, RPG IV, Free Form) and CL scripts on IBM iSeries (AS/400).

• Design, code, test, debug, and document business applications and system integrations.

• Work with DB2/400 (DDS, SQL, stored procedures, triggers) to support application logic and reporting.

• Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.

• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects.

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of professional development experience on IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform.

• Strong proficiency in RPG IV, RPGLE (ILE), and Free Form RPG.

• Hands-on experience with CL programming and DB2/400 database.

• Knowledge of SQL (embedded and dynamic SQL on DB2/400).

• Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements in a structured SDLC.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
