ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT MANAGER II
MOBILE, TUSCALOOSA, OR HUNTSVILLE, AL

SUMMARY: This position assists the Principal Architect in planning and developing all phases of a project. The Project Manager II functions as the point of contact for the company for all interface, coordination, construction oversight, reviews, verifications, quality assurance, and close out activities related to assigned projects. Advanced knowledge is applied to all project management related functions. The Project Manager II is responsible for the quality of work performed, project schedules, client service, utilization of staff, marketing, reputation of the office, contract management, billing, collection strategies and project profitability.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Drafting experience required and a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture or related field preferred.
• 8 years of project management experience is required, (12 years is preferred).
• Current Alabama Architectural License preferred but not required.
• State Alabama Driver’s License required.
• Advanced knowledge of current building codes, city, state and federal regulations, American with Disabilities Act and other regulatory codes is required.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
• Advanced proficiency in rendering drawings and 3D CAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Must have well developed communication and organizational skills.
