Position Responsibilities:
AR-AP Manager Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer of an industry-leading freight forwarder and logistics provider offering multimodal transportation (air, ocean, rail, expedited, LTL) and warehousing & distribution services.

The AR-AP Manager supervises the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments. The successful individual will work closely with operations, customers, and vendors to ensure that customer receipts are received promptly, and payments to suppliers are made accurately and timely. Will manage a team of up to 9 payable and receivable specialists to include hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating staff members. Approves credit for new and existing clients and ensures cash receipts are applied promptly and accurately to client accounts. Implements debt collection policies and regulations, prepares monthly performance reports, ensures timely collection of customer payments, and negotiates in cases when non-payment occurs. Establishes procedures to ensure that vendor invoices are paid when due and oversees regular reconciliation of vendor statements to ensure completeness of liabilities. Maintains efficient processes to manage the high volume of invoices received are entered promptly and accurately. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
